Municipal daycare center "Unterm Regenbogen"
Our daycare center (KiTa) offers places for a maximum of 55 children aged from 1 year to school age. We primarily look after children from Lohnsfeld.
The children are divided into three groups: red, yellow and blue. The red and blue groups each have a maximum capacity of 20 children and the yellow group up to a maximum of 15 children. The composition of the groups is based on the individual stage of development. One-year-olds are only looked after in the yellow group.
Our day nursery provides your child with an extended experience and living space to form relationships and gives them the opportunity to expand their social contacts and find new caregivers.
The children are encouraged to pursue their own interests as well as to consider the needs of the other children and the group as a whole.
We believe that the educational mission of our KiTa is to help children to reconcile their needs with the different expectations of their present and future lives.
The educational work supports the child in shaping their life in a meaningful and responsible way. Step by step, they learn to participate in group life, recognize their own role and practice different social behaviors and skills.
We want to maintain and encourage the children's joy of discovery and extend it to ever new areas of interest, thereby "learning to learn".
