Citizens' café for young and old

A special community café in the morning - young and old together in Lohnsfeld

On Wednesday, May 14, the Lohnsfeld Citizens' Café took place at a rather unusual time - namely in the morning. For the first time, the citizens did not meet in the afternoon as usual, but in the morning, which gave this fourth edition of the Citizens' Café this year a very special character.

A highlight of the morning was the visit from the children from the local kindergarten. Together with the other visitors to the café, they sang, made things, laughed and chatted. Great conversations took place across the generations - a colorful and lively mix that filled the room with warmth.

A big thank you goes to Annika Schuler, head of the kindergarten, who contributed to the organization of the morning with great openness and great ideas. Her spontaneous willingness to work together and the commitment of the entire kindergarten team and parents made this community café a particularly enjoyable experience.

As with every Bürgercafé, donations were once again made diligently. A total of 55 euros was raised, all of which will go to the kindergarten's support association. A big thank you to everyone who made this special get-together possible through their participation, their donations and their involvement.

The Citizens' Café shows once again how valuable encounters in the community are - and that they can be enriching at any age.

Your local mayor, Daniel Korn
