The motorhome parking area on the village square, which opened this year, is becoming a real success for the local community of Lohnsfeld. Since its opening, it has been visited regularly and in large numbers by motorhome travelers. The feedback received so far has been consistently positive and reflects the high level of satisfaction among guests.
To further improve the experience, the local community has recently expanded the facilities on the pitch. New additions include a recycling garbage can for environmentally friendly disposal and a display case. In future, this will provide information about Lohnsfeld and the surrounding area - including information about hiking and cycling trails, the local swimming pool and other leisure activities.
In addition, the display case also indicates the possibility of making a voluntary donation to the account of the local community when using the camper van site.
